Who We Are – What Is Sharks Volleyball?

Sharks Volleyball is a volleyball coaching organisation founded by Keaton Luck, alongside Ned Talay, born from their shared recognition of a significant gap in access to quality volleyball coaching in Queensland. With volleyball still growing as a sport in Australia, Keaton experienced firsthand the challenges young athletes faced in finding consistent, professional training that could truly develop their skills and potential.

Driven by a passion for the sport and a commitment to raising the standard of volleyball coaching, Keaton set out to create an organisation that went beyond basic training. He envisioned a coaching environment where athletes could receive structured, high-quality guidance, supported by a professional team that shared his dedication to excellence. Under his leadership, Sharks Volleyball has grown from a simple idea into a thriving coaching organisation, offering programs that nurture talent, build confidence, and inspire the next generation of volleyball players across Queensland and Australia.

Not only do they make time to coach the next generation of volleyball athletes, but they balance their own commitments around volleyball training of their own, playing internationally, and participating in local and state tournaments right here in Australia.

Keaton Luck, our founder and managing director, drives the vision and strategy of Sharks Volleyball, setting the direction for the organisation while ensuring every program and initiative reflects his commitment to excellence, innovation, and the development of young athletes. His leadership inspires the team to push boundaries, maintain high standards, and deliver consistent, professional coaching across all levels of the sport.

Lisa Luck, our General Manager, is the backbone of the team, keeping all operations organised, efficient, and on track.

Mikayla Hayes, Operations Coordinator, manages the flow of daily operations with precision, keeping the team organised and efficient.

Max Senica, leads the HPA program with expertise, professionalism and vision, driving excellence and results at every level.

Billy Greber, manages the recruitment process and designs the training programs to ensure the team is skilled, prepared, and aligned with professional standards.

Alexus Heng, as YSV Coordinator, manages the program to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and well-structured social, volleyball experience.
