Opposite hitters are a rare breed—and too often overlooked in the development of young athletes. Their unique role requires not just raw power, but also versatility, quick decision-making, and strong defensive skills. For many developmental coaches, training opposites can be a challenge—but that’s exactly where we come in.

This one-day clinic is designed specifically to support opposite hitters in grades 7–12, regardless of skill level. Whether you’re new to the position or looking to refine your game, Will D’Arcy brings high-level expertise to help you grow.

Who can attend the Clinic?

Want to sharpen your hitting skills? This clinic is open to athletes of all skill levels in grades 7 to 12 — whether you're just getting started or looking to fine-tune your technique, this is the place to grow your game!

How much does it cost?

For $105 you get full access to the clinic!

Additionally, we will be providing you with a minimum of state level experience coaches.

Where is the clinic located?

Venue Change - This clinic will be held in Brisbane, specifically at Wishart State School, Wishart 4122, QLD (formerly at Mansfield State School)

When is the Clinic held?

The clinic will run on Saturday the 17th of May 2025. Starting at 4.30pm athletes will get on the court training, as well as, the opportunity to talk strategy. View the timetable below for session allocation and a more detailed outline of the evening!

What should I do after registering?

Attend the venue location, session day and time and arrive a few minutes before the starting time to get your name marked off the roll.

A: As long as the registrations are still open, you can sign up at any point in time!

Q: Can I register after the program has already started?

A: All you have to bring is, closed-in shoes, a water bottle and comfortable sportswear to train in. We encourage you to NOT bring your own volleyball.

Q: What do I have to bring to the session?

A: When you arrive, you will be greeted by our lovely staff! They will check your name off on the roll and you’ll be appointed to your designated court!

Q: What do I do when I arrive at the session?

A: Unfortunately, we don’t offer credit if you’re unable to make one or two sessions. If you know you will be away for multiple lessons you can contact us to see if your eligible!

Q: Do I get a credit for missing a session?
